John Pelkey wrote his first short story in fourth grade. His teacher was so impressed; she bound it and placed it in the library for other students to check out for book reports. Thirty-two years later, he started writing again, when one of his co-workers asked him to explain what it was like to be a Christian. His stories feature young people in first love romantic situations. To Fall from Grace is his seventh novel. John is a retired financial manager with the State of Washington and a graduate of The Evergreen State College, with a degree in psychology. He lives in West Puget Sound with his wife Cheryl, three fluff dogs, and Nellie the cat.
