Tracy fell in love with writing in 3rd grade, when her story “The Kind Old Lady” was published in the school newsletter, and she’s been writing ever since.
In 2001 she won a Harlequin Round Robin contest with the most logical and creative chapter for their online novel, Dial “D” for Date, and had her chapter featured on their website. Her other writing credits include: “Betrayal for Sport” , Between a Laugh and a Tear Poetry Anthology, Watermark Press 1991; “What You Love About May”, All*You magazine, May 2005;“The Chief and the Thief” Solve-It-Yourself Mystery, Woman’s World magazine, June 28, 2010;“A Warm Act of Kindness”, Woman’s World magazine, November 12, 2012; “Kind Surprises Made My Little Girl Smile!”, Woman’s World magazine, July 15, 2013;“Lights Out!” Solve-It-Yourself Mystery, Woman’s World magazine, November 17, 2014.
Tracy has participated in the National Novel Writing Month challenge since 2011 and her debut novel “Courage of a Dove” was actually her 2012 NaNoWriMo entry.
Besides writing, her interests include: reading, cooking, antiques, classic movies, nature and animals (especially skunks).
Originally from Toronto, Ontario, Tracy has lived in Tampa, Florida since 1999 with her husband of 25 years, her 4 daughters and an array of pets.
